Dr. Bethan Taylor is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Bedfordshire's Institute of Applied Social Research (IASR), part of the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. Her work focuses on participatory research methods, power dynamics in domestic and sexual abuse contexts, and organizational culture. She leads the Young Researcher’s Advisory Panel (YRAP) and has over 15 years of experience in charity sectors, including trauma recovery programs for domestic abuse survivors and behavior change interventions for young people.

Research Interests
Bethan specializes in creative and participatory approaches to data collection, particularly with children and young people. She explores issues of power and powerlessness in service provision, organizational culture barriers, and youth participation in research and policy-making. Her recent projects include co-creating domestic abuse responses with young people and evaluating interventions for perpetrators of domestic abuse.
