Beth Parkinson

Beth Parkinson is a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester's Division of Population Health, Health Services Research & Primary Care. Her work focuses on understanding the role of community health services in reducing hospital admissions, particularly through improving primary care quality and evaluating healthcare programs like the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NHS-DPP). She holds a PhD in Health Economics (2021), funded by the Wellcome Trust, which explored the relationship between primary care quality and emergency care utilization.
