Beth Allison is an Adjunct Professor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Monash Health, affiliated with the Victorian Heart Institute (VHI). Her research focuses on fetal growth restriction, neonatal care, and cardiovascular outcomes in preterm infants. She leads and collaborates on projects addressing placental development, lung maturation, and neuroprotection in high-risk pregnancies.
Key research collaborations span institutions globally, with a focus on translating findings into clinical interventions. Notable grants include leadership of the NHMRC-funded 'Improved Cardiovascular Outcomes for Growth-Restricted Infants' (2020–2024).
Her scientific contributions include over 89 publications and 9 awards, such as the Pfizer-SRI Presidents Award (2018). She serves as Editor-in-Chief of Frontiers in Physiology and mentors PhD students through Monash University's Medicine Faculty.
