Dr. Beth A. Schaefer is a Professor in the Department of Physics and Earth Sciences at Georgian Court University. She holds a PhD in Low temperature physics/heavy fermion systems from Boston College and a BA in Physics with a Mathematics minor from Boston University. Her research focuses on polarized light, fluorescence polarization, XAFS techniques, and heavy fermion systems. She has contributed to theoretical and applied studies in optics and biophysical chemistry, including patents related to protein separation analysis.
