Beste TOMAY is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Archaeology at Adiyaman University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. She specializes in Roman and Late Antique archaeology, focusing on ceramics, amphorae, and Mediterranean trade networks. Her research is centered on the Andriake harbor of Myra, a key port in Lycia, and its role in ancient trade.

Research Interests: Her work integrates field archaeology with material culture analysis, particularly studying amphorae as indicators of economic and cultural connectivity. Recent projects include the Myra-Andriake excavations and surveys on Late Antique amphorae production centers.
Publications & Projects: Over 10 peer-reviewed articles and conference papers, including studies on amphora stamps, trade networks, and cult objects. Key projects include TUBITAK-funded research on natural disasters in Late Antique Anatolia and BAP-supported doctoral work on Andriake's amphorae.
Awards & Grants: Recipient of TUBITAK grants, Koç University scholarships, and the YÖK doctoral scholarship. Her international collaborations include work at the French Archaeological Institute in Athens.
