Beste Bayramoğlu

Beste Bayramoğlu is an Associate Professor at the Department of Food Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering and Sciences, Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH). She specializes in molecular modeling, nanotechnology applications in food engineering, and edible coatings.

• PhD in Food Engineering, METU (2007-2012) using molecular dynamics and NMR relaxometry
• Postdoctoral researcher at UC Davis (2006-2012) studying polymer systems

Her research focuses on molecular modeling of biomolecular and colloidal systems, nanotechnology in food engineering, and food hydrocolloids. She explores how molecular dynamics simulations and NMR techniques can optimize food packaging and nutrient delivery systems.

Recent projects include TD-NMR quality control methods (TUBITAK-217O089), curcumin micelle interactions (TUBITAK-118O378), and edible coatings for fresh-cut produce.
