Dr. Besma Glaa is a Lecturer at Linköping University's Department of Economic and Industrial Development (IEI) within the Business Administration division. She actively contributes to both research and teaching, focusing on how digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, transform business models and service offerings in contemporary organizations.
Her research spans several critical areas of modern business administration:

Her work on industrial symbiosis networks explores how knowledge sharing facilitates the emergence of sustainable industrial ecosystems. She is currently leading research projects that help companies understand and harness AI's potential in retail contexts, as well as developing tools for creating more efficient urban transportation systems through the '15-minute city' concept.
Dr. Glaa is actively involved in the Master's program in Business Administration - Strategy and Management in International Organizations (SMIO), which has established itself as an international education program. She contributes to educating future leaders who can make well-considered decisions in international business contexts, with the program having celebrated its 15th anniversary with alumni participation from around the globe.
Her collaborative research demonstrates international engagement, working with scholars across different institutions to address complex business challenges at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and organizational strategy.
