Bertram Batlogg is Emeritus Professor of Physics of Condensed Matter at ETH Zürich's Department of Physics. His research focuses on novel materials and physical phenomena in solid-state physics, including high-temperature superconductors, quantum magnets, and organic semiconductors.

- Pioneering work on high-temperature superconductivity mechanisms
- Research on strongly correlated electron systems
- Development of organic molecular crystals for electronic applications
