Berta Terzieva

Berta Terzieva is a Researcher at the Institute for Nonprofit Management at the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She works at the Civic Life of Cities Lab, which focuses on civil society and nonprofit organizations within urban contexts.

Her research interests include Civil Society, Nonprofit Organizations, Urban Sociology, and Higher Education Research. She has previously studied the social and financial challenges faced by students, particularly those with health impairments and disabilities.

At WU Vienna, she contributes to interdisciplinary projects examining the role of civil society in urban development. She is affiliated with the Civic Life of Cities Lab, which bridges academic research and policy-making in nonprofit studies.
