Bert Verhoeven

Bert Verhoeven is a Senior Lecturer at the Newcastle Business School (University of Newcastle), part of the College of Human and Social Futures. With an entrepreneurial career spanning publishing, professional services, and international development since the 1990s, he transitioned to academia in 2006. He contributed to Swinburne Business School until 2017, leading innovation curricula and entrepreneurship programs. At Flinders University (2017–2023), he pioneered GenAI integration in education. His current focus is designing AI-centric innovation programs at the University of Newcastle.
