Bert Hölldobler is a Foundation Professor of Life Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU), Tempe, AZ, USA, since 2004. His academic career spans multiple prestigious institutions, including Harvard University (1973–1990), University of Würzburg (1989–2004), and Cornell University (2002–2008) as an Andrew D. White Professor at Large. He also holds adjunct appointments at the University of Arizona.
