Bernard Hunt is the Programme Manager of the 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at the University of Surrey's Institute for Communication Systems. He holds over three decades of industrial and academic experience in mobile communication systems, standardization (ETSI/3GPP), and research contributions to 3G/4G/5G technologies. As a key contributor to global standardization bodies like ITU and the Wireless World Research Forum, he co-founded the WINNER project, influencing 4G's core technical framework.
