Bennett Lareau

Bennett Lareau, NP is a nurse practitioner at the Berkeley Outpatient Center, specializing in sexual and reproductive health. They are a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and focus on serving transgender and gender-expansive individuals, as well as marginalized populations. Their clinical interests include management of abnormal Pap test results, cervical dysplasia, vulvar issues, menopause care, and trauma-informed approaches to sexual health.

Lareau earned a Master of Nursing degree with dual emphasis on adult and women's health from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2012. They also hold board certifications from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult Nurse Practitioner since 2012.

As a volunteer assistant clinical professor at the UCSF School of Nursing, Lareau supervises midwifery and nurse practitioner students, delivers guest lectures, and has co-authored a book chapter on primary care for transgender populations.
