Benjamin Wilson is an Associate Professor in Landscape Processes at the School of Agricultural, Environmental and Veterinary Sciences, Charles Sturt University (CSU). He previously served as Head of the School of Environmental Sciences and School of Agricultural and Wine Sciences at CSU and currently holds the Associate Head (Natural & Applied Sciences) role. His work spans soil science, geoscience, and climatology, with a focus on acid sulfate soils, floodplain dynamics, and localization metrics for sustainability.
- Education: PhD in Environmental Science (1996, University of New South Wales), BSc with Honors
- Research Themes: Acid sulfate soil impacts, urban flooding in Africa, wetland microbial ecology, and localization-sustainability linkages
