Professor Benjamin Tan is a full-time faculty member at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ), serving as Professor of Nursing, Chair (Chronic Conditions & Cancer Care Research), and Associate Head of School (Research) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery. He holds adjunct professorships at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Southwest Medical University Hospital, and Zunyi Medical University. His research focuses on integrative oncology, cancer symptom management, and interdisciplinary healthcare innovations, with internationally recognized contributions adopted in clinical guidelines by organizations like the European Society for Medical Oncology and the UK National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

Benjamin Tan has been honored in the prestigious Stanford/Elsevier list of the World’s Top 2% Most-cited Scientists in 2023 and 2024, reflecting his global impact in oncology and nursing research.
Benjamin Tan actively contributes to academic leadership as Associate Head of School (Research) and Chair of the School Research Committee at UniSQ. He also serves as Associate Editor for the European Journal of Oncology Nursing and on editorial boards of other international journals.
