Benjamin Tallerico is a Part-Time Lecturer in Urban Planning at Wayne State University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (USAP department). With over 25 years of experience, he serves as an urbanist, planner, educator, and tour guide. He teaches graduate planning courses at Wayne State, Eastern Michigan University, and previously as a Visiting Instructor at the University of Toledo.

He is certified in Form-Based Code, Complete Streets, and Placemaking by Michigan.
Awards reflect both academic recognition (teaching excellence) and professional impact (DTE Energy's highest honor). He advises graduate students on essays, an unusual role typically reserved for full-time faculty.
