Dr. Benjamin Sikes is an Associate Professor of Microbial Ecology at the University of Kansas, cross-appointed between the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and the Kansas Biological Survey. His research focuses on microbial ecology, particularly soil fungi, their interactions with plants and environments, and applications in ecosystem restoration and sustainable agriculture.
