Benjamin Schindler

Prof. Dr. Benjamin Schindler is a Professor of Public Law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), specializing in administrative law, procedural law, and legal history. He holds a lic. iur. from the University of Zurich (1996) and an MJur from the University of Oxford (2005). His academic career includes a habilitation in Public Law (2010) and roles such as Vorsteher der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Abteilung (2019-2021) and President of the Rekurskommission at HSG (2011-2019, 2022–present). He is a member of the Swiss Jurists’ Association (since 2012, President since 2021) and the German Association of Constitutional Law Professors (since 2024).
