Benjamin Ryskeldi-Falcon

Benjamin Ryskeldi-Falcon is a Researcher at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, University of Cambridge. His work focuses on the molecular basis of protein assembly in neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Using high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM), he investigates disease-specific amyloid conformers, including tau, TDP-43, and ANXA11 filaments, and their propagation mechanisms in brain networks.
