Dr. Benjamin Mathew is a Professor of Counseling at Columbia International University (CIU), affiliated with the Seminary & School of Counseling. He holds a PhD in General Psychology from the JFK School of Psychology and Social Sciences, National University, an MA in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a BS in Biblical Studies from Emmaus University. Specializing in integrating theology with counseling practices, his research focuses on multiculturalism, racial reconciliation, biblical ethics, and gender studies. He is a Board-Certified Counselor (NCC) and maintains a private therapy practice.
Dr. Mathew’s scholarly contributions include over two decades of publications addressing issues like immigration policy through a biblical lens, theological perspectives on sexuality, and racial animosity in interracial marriages.
