معرفی
Dr. Benjamin J. Deadman is a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at Imperial College London, part of the Reaction Engineering and Catalytic Technology (REaCT) group. His work focuses on continuous flow chemistry and electrochemically generated oxidants in organic synthesis, contributing to the EPSRC-funded CoMRaDe project. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge (2013), MSc from University of Waikato (2008), and BSc from University of Waikato (2006).
Research interests include reaction engineering, catalytic technology, hazardous chemistry mitigation via continuous flow systems, and the development of scalable organic synthesis methods. His work emphasizes industrial applications and process safety, particularly involving diazo compounds and slurry-phase reactions.
Publications highlight innovations in continuous flow reactor design, co-crystal formation of nutraceuticals, and machine-assisted synthesis of pharmaceutical probes. Awards include the LB Wood Scholarship and Commonwealth Scholarship. Professional memberships include the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Society of Chemical Industry.
