Benjamin Hébert is an Associate Professor of Finance at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. He holds a PhD in Financial Economics from Harvard University and dual undergraduate degrees in Physics and Computer Science from MIT. His research focuses on finance, macroeconomics, and contract theory, specifically examining debt contracts, sovereign default effects, and information processing constraints in financial markets.
Dr. Hébert's research explores fundamental questions in financial economics, including the prevalence of debt contracts, implications of sovereign defaults, and information processing limitations affecting market participants. His work combines theoretical modeling with empirical analysis to understand market mechanisms and economic behaviors.
