Dr. Benjamin Guenther is a Lecturer and Undergraduate Coordinator at the University of Maine, Department of Psychology, and serves as an Adjunct Instructor affiliated with the VEMI Lab. His research spans cognitive psychology, aging, health, and accessibility design, with a focus on multimodal interfaces and spatial cognition.
His recent work includes studies on:
- Dietary impacts on cardiovascular health
- Exercise interventions for cognitive aging
- Assistive technologies for spatial navigation
- Visual perception mechanisms in attention research
Publications highlight interdisciplinary trends in human-computer interaction, nutritional neuroscience, and aging studies, utilizing longitudinal data and multimodal experiments. He contributes to accessibility research, particularly for inclusive graphical design and tactile mapping.
