Dr. Benjamin Garrett Vincent is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and a Joint Faculty member in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the UNC School of Medicine. He is affiliated with the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Vincent Lab, where his research focuses on systems tumor immunology and immunogenomics to advance curative immunotherapy strategies for cancer.
- Education: MD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2003-2009); Residency in Internal Medicine (2009-2011); Research Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology (2011-2015).
Research Interests: Dr. Vincent’s work combines immunogenomics and classical immunology to study anti-tumor immunity, tumor immune microenvironment heterogeneity, and mechanisms of response/resistance to immunotherapy. His lab has pioneered tools for T/B cell receptor repertoire analysis, neoantigen prediction, and immune gene signature mapping.

Labs and Collaborations: The Vincent Lab is part of the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and collaborates with the Parrott Laboratory and the LCCC Mouse Phase I Unit. They contribute to The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Immune Response Working Group.
