Benjamin Donnelly, M.A., is an Instructor of History and Political Science at the University of Providence. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in History from the University of Montana, where his graduate thesis, 'Eagle Against the Dragon: Air Combat Over North Vietnam, 1965-1973, was published. His research focuses on aviation history, including contributions to publications like Montana and the Cold War and his upcoming book, Roadside Aircraft of the West.

Donnelly is actively involved in Great Falls' community, serving as a docent at the Malmstrom AFB Museum and maintaining the Poletto Collection at the Great Falls International Airport. He also engages with local gaming communities through events like the Great Falls Gaming Rendezvous and Electric City Dice and Cosplay. His hobbies include aviation photography, model-building, and speculative fiction writing.
He teaches courses in History, Geography, and previously Political Science, emphasizing the lessons of the past to inform present and future opportunities.
