Benjamin Davies

Benjamin Davies is a Professor of Urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Chief of the Urology Section at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. His research focuses on health services, addressing disparities in healthcare access and outcomes, particularly in rural and underrepresented communities. He leads studies on treatment disparities in bladder cancer, opioid prescribing trends, and healthcare policy.

He co-founded the Urology Health Services Division at Pitt to enhance research capacity and support underrepresented students in urology. Davies actively engages in global health initiatives, including volunteering with International Volunteers in Urology in Rwanda, where he trains local surgeons and advocates for sustainable healthcare infrastructure.
