Benjamin Campbell

Benjamin Campbell is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, part of the College of Letters & Science. His research focuses on human life history evolution, with particular emphasis on steroid hormones as mediators between energetics, brain development, and life course transitions from childhood growth to senescence. His fieldwork spans pastoralist communities in Kenya to foraging populations, examining ecological impacts on human development.
