Bengtsson Lennart

Lennart Bengtsson is a Professor at the University of Reading, UK since 2001. He has held prominent leadership roles in climate science, including Director of the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology (1991-2000) and Director of the European Centre for Medium Range Forecasts (1982-1990). His research focuses on climate modeling, data assimilation, and the hydrological cycle.
