Benedetta Lucchitta

Benedetta Lucchitta serves as a Research Fellow at SUR Lab and GREEN, Bocconi University since 2014, concurrently pursuing her PhD in Urban Planning and Policies at IUAV University, Venice. Her dual institutional affiliation bridges academic research with practical policy implementation in urban sustainability.

Project Leadership: Key contributor to the EU Horizon 2020 Urban GreenUP project implementing nature-based solutions across European cities, and active in the Green Economy Observatory managing policy analysis frameworks. Organized the 2025 "Future of Cities" workshop at Bocconi University convening academia, government and industry on scalable regeneration models.

Methodological Approach: Pioneers integrated assessment tools that connect climate adaptation metrics with urban well-being indicators, demonstrated in the Bocconi Masterclass series on regeneration impact measurement.
