Benedetta Flebus is an Assistant Professor of Physics at Boston College, affiliated with the Department of Physics. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Utrecht, Netherlands, and a B.S. from the University of Trieste, Italy. Her research focuses on quantum many-body dynamics in hybrid solid-state systems, non-Hermitian topological phenomena, and spintronics, with a particular emphasis on the interplay between dissipation and quantum systems.

Her recent work includes studies on the phonon Hall viscosity of ionic crystals, non-Hermitian skin effects in magnetic systems, and the dynamics of magnon-polarons. She has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the NSF CAREER Award (2022) and the Mildred Dresselhaus Award (2022).
