Ben Van Acker

Ben Van Acker is a Research Assistant in Practical Theology at ETF Leuven and pursues a PhD in Religious Education. His work focuses on interfaith dialogue and its application in educational and organizational contexts. He has taught Protestant-Evangelical Religious Education (PEGO) in secondary and primary schools in Antwerp since 2004.

Research interests include interfaith leadership development, religious education methodologies, and promoting multireligious understanding. His 2023 publication explores interfaith dialogue's role in organizational leadership, while his 2021 presentation addressed bridging multireligious communities through education.

Collaborations since 2016 include Interfaith Dialogue (ILD) projects. He holds a Master of Arts in Theology and Religious Studies from ETF Leuven (2019) and a Teacher's Diploma (2019).
