Ben Sasse is President Emeritus and Professor at the University of Florida (UF), serving as the 13th president from 2023 until his transition to emeritus status. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Yale University, where his dissertation earned prestigious awards. As a historian and educator, Sasse emphasized applied research, lifelong learning, and strategic institutional growth during his tenure. He previously served as a U.S. Senator, taught at Yale, the University of Texas, and Midland University, and authored bestselling books on American political culture.
