Bella Etingen

Bella Etingen, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Research Health Scientist within the Veterans Health Administration's Health Systems Research service. Her research focuses on health services research, implementation science, and community engagement across three primary areas: implementation of Whole Health care, connected care technologies, and strategies to improve Veteran engagement in mental health care.

Dr. Etingen employs mixed-methods approaches to evaluate healthcare programs and develop interventions for improving care delivery in veteran populations. Her work has examined telehealth implementation, patient portal usage, spinal cord injury management, and mental health service delivery.
