Belinda Wee

Dr. Belinda Wee is an Assistant Professor at the College of Business, School of Business and Management, Husson University. She holds a Ph.D. in Education (Human Resource Development) from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from Husson University, and prior degrees from Purdue University and the Carlson School of Management. Her professional background includes leadership roles in international hospitality and human resources, with experience in China, Australia, Singapore, and the U.S.

Dr. Wee’s research focuses on expatriation, career development, organizational culture, diversity, and remote leadership. She actively engages in academic conferences and peer review for journals. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes student-centered learning, critical thinking, and mentorship, inspired by her belief in fostering lifelong excellence.

Prior to academia, she co-founded businesses in e-commerce and automotive services, managed corporate training programs in Asia, and held full-time roles in Maine state government. She also contributes to community service through church and district leadership roles in the United Methodist Conference.
