Belgin Uzun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at the Faculty of Education, Sakarya University. She is actively involved in science and environmental education, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses such as Environmental Education, Teaching Practice, and Science Learning Approaches.

The recent publications reflect a consistent focus on teacher education, biodiversity instruction, and environmental awareness. Her studies employ qualitative and quantitative methods to assess pedagogical strategies and environmental perceptions. She has also contributed to ornithological and ecological research, particularly on waterbirds such as the Common Coot, Great Reed Warbler, and Little Egret.
