Belesis Nikolaos

Dr. Nikolaos D. Belesis is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Business Organization & Administration, School of Economics, Business and International Studies, University of Piraeus. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Organization and Administration, a Master's in Finance & Banking Administration, and a PhD in Accounting, all from the University of Piraeus. He is also a retired Certified Public Accountant with 15 years of experience at Moore Greece, where he served as an Audit Manager.

Research & Teaching: His work focuses on Accounting, Auditing, Maritime Accounting, and International Accounting Standards. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Auditing, Forensic Accounting, Maritime Accounting, and Management Accounting at the University of Piraeus and other institutions.

Professional Background: A retired CPA and former Audit Manager at Moore Greece, he has audited major Greek shipping companies and holds a Class A Tax Accountant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece.
