Becky O'Neal

Becky O'Neal is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the School of Nursing, Oklahoma City Community College. With over 20 years of nursing experience since 2001, her clinical background spans medical-surgical nursing, travel nursing in California and Oklahoma, and cardiovascular operating room nursing at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.

• Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

Her research focuses on simulation as an educational tool and barriers faced by English as an Additional Language (EAL) students in nursing programs. She actively participates in professional organizations including Sigma Theta Tau, National League for Nursing, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.

Outside academia, she is married to Michael, has three children, and is involved in children’s ministry at Memorial Road Church of Christ.
