Beccy Kennedy-Schtyk

Dr. Beccy Kennedy-Schtyk is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for Undergraduate Art Theory and Practice at Manchester School of Art. Her research examines biennial culture, border art, and contemporary East Asian visual culture, with specializations in Korean/Chinese diaspora art and DMZ representations. She leads the AHRC-funded 'Visualising Chinese Borders' network.

Kennedy-Schtyk has curated exhibitions including Asia Triennial Manchester editions and published on media education, film studies, and Holocaust pedagogy. She maintains active engagement with gallery education and examination boards.
