Alnoor Mitha is Senior Research Fellow (Asian Cultures) at Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University, where he leads the Centre for Asian Cultures. He holds adjunct positions at Beaconhouse University Lahore and Teesside University. His research examines contemporary South Asian visual art through critical curation, focusing on decolonizing practices and amplifying marginalized voices.
Research interests span intercultural exchange, arts festivals as knowledge platforms, and the intersection of conflict resolution with artistic expression. His projects include founding the Asia Triennial Manchester festival and curating exhibitions at institutions like Imperial War Museum North.
