Beccah Bland

Beccah Bland is a full-time Assistant Professor in the School of English at Mid-America Christian University (MACU), with over 12 years of teaching experience in higher education. Her academic journey began at Southwestern Christian University, continued through graduate studies at the University of Central Oklahoma, and now focuses on fostering student growth as writers within a Christian educational framework.

As a Teaching Assistant at UCO and later a faculty member at multiple institutions, she transitioned to MACU where she has served for a decade. Outside academia, she balances family life with her husband Johnny and two sons, Oliver and Ander, while maintaining a passion for literature reflected in her favorite authors: Jane Austen, J.R.R. Tolkien, Kate Chopin, and Erin Morgenstern.
