Becca Howell is an Assistant Professor in the English department and Director of the Clark Academic Center at Calvary University since August 2022. She holds a B.A. in English from The Master’s College (2005) and an M.A. in English from Clemson University (2008). Her teaching focuses on literature, writing, and critical thinking from a biblical perspective, with a particular enthusiasm for literature and writing courses over linguistics.
With 14 years of teaching experience across public universities, private Christian institutions, and classical schools, Howell emphasizes her commitment to institutions prioritizing biblical principles. She views her role at Calvary as fulfilling a lifelong desire to nurture students who integrate faith with academic excellence.
Originally from St. Paul, Minnesota, Howell’s professional journey reflects a dedication to Christian higher education, driven by a passion to equip students to communicate their faith effectively.
