Beatrix Himmelmann

Beatrix Himmelmann is a Professor at the Department of Philosophy and First Semester Studies at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. Her research focuses on moral philosophy, existentialism, and the works of Kant and Nietzsche. She has delivered major lectures including a keynote at the 14th International Kant Congress (2024) and participated in debates such as 'This House Regrets the Death of God' (2025). Her recent publications explore topics like Kant's moral law, Nietzsche's critique of morality, and the philosophical implications of 'Will to Power.'
