Dr. Başak Ekinci is a researcher affiliated with the Human Rights Law Application and Research Center at Istanbul Bilgi University, focusing on constitutional law, feminist legal theory, and human rights. She graduated with the highest degree from Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law in 2015 and earned her LLM with distinction from the University of Edinburgh (2016) for her thesis on the criminalization of sex work and human rights. In 2024, she completed her PhD in Public Law at Galatasaray University, analyzing Constitutional Court decisions through feminist theory.
