Barış Balcıoğlu is a Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Sabancı University, Turkey since 2015. Formerly, he held academic positions at the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto (2003-2015), including Associate Professor (2009-2011) and Assistant Professor (2003-2009). He received his PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Rutgers University (2003), MS (1996) and BS (1994) in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey.
