Baruch Shomron

Baruch Shomron is an academic researcher focusing on media capabilities, communication rights, and social justice for marginalized communities. He held the Israel Professorship at the Institute of Journalism at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) and conducted research on media representations of minority groups in Israel and Germany. His work integrates the capabilities approach to analyze how media enable or hinder human rights and social inclusion.
