Dr. hab. Bartosz Liżewski is a Professor at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS). He serves as Vice-Dean and conducts seminars, lectures, and classes in jurisprudence, legal philosophy, logic for lawyers, and European human rights protection systems.
- Research Focus: Theoretical and legal analysis of international law, human rights protection mechanisms, and the European Convention on Human Rights.
- Academic Roles: Employed since 1997, habilitated in 2014 with a thesis on operationalizing human rights protection under the European Convention.
