Bartosz Kamecki is a Researcher at the Department of Microwave and Antenna Engineering, Faculty of Electronics Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdańsk University of Technology. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree in materials engineering, obtained in November 2023 from the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics.
His research focuses on:
- Solid Oxide Fuel and Electrolyzer Cells (SOFC/SOEC)
- Materials engineering for electrochemical energy conversion
- Ceramic materials and thin film deposition
- Electrical properties of materials
- Oxidation kinetics and protective coatings
Dr. Kamecki's recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on solid oxide cell technology, particularly examining the performance of double-sided solid oxide cells, fabrication methods for protective coatings on interconnects, and structural properties of ceramic materials. His work often involves innovative approaches to improve the efficiency and durability of electrochemical energy conversion systems.
He has received the prestigious Stypendium START award from Fundacja na rzecz Nauki Polskiej in 2024, recognizing his scientific achievements.
Dr. Kamecki leads the "Nanocrystalline high-entropy spinel oxide films" research project funded by the PRELUDIUM program (agreement UMO-2019/35/N/ST5/01796), which investigates the influence of electron configuration and crystallographic position of cations on physicochemical properties of nanocrystalline ceramic materials.
