Bart Meuleman is a full professor at KU Leuven's Faculty of Social Sciences, where he holds significant academic responsibilities including membership in the Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences. He is also affiliated with the Leuven Centre for the Study of Islam Culture and Society (LCSICS) and serves on multiple program committees including POC Sociologie and POC Master in statistiek.
His research focuses on welfare state attitudes, political sociology, and survey methodology, with particular emphasis on public support for activation policies, basic income proposals, and intergroup relations.
