Bart J. Verhaegh

Bart J. Verhaegh is a doctoral researcher in the Mechanics of Materials group at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Eindhoven University of Technology. His work focuses on understanding how second-phase particles influence the mechanical behavior of advanced high-strength green steels, particularly in hydrogen-based production processes. This research, part of the NWO-funded PLEDGE project, aims to enhance the strength-toughness balance in recyclable, low-emission steels for sustainable industrial applications.
