Dr. Barry R. Huff is a Professor of Religious Studies at the Center for Narrative, Meaning, and Media at Principia College. He holds a PhD in Biblical Studies from Union Presbyterian Seminary, a ThM from Columbia Theological Seminary, and an MTS from Eden Theological Seminary.

Dr. Huff's research focuses on biblical interpretation, with particular emphasis on the Book of Job, ecological hermeneutics, and protofeminist readings of patriarchal texts. His work bridges historical exegesis with contemporary theological discourse.
He has contributed to academic discourse through over 300 lectures, 26 podcasts on biblical themes, and co-editing the Festschrift Seeking Wisdom’s Depths and Torah’s Heights for Samuel E. Balentine. His archival research in New England institutions informs his current writing on 19th-century biblical interpretation.
